I thought that the floor would be my down fall.

So I just started taking it piece by piece.  I got a bunch of 3/4 inch steel tubing (square because it would be easier to weld to). I then started making a frame structure.

I laid 1/16th sheet metal on it and tacked it down a lot.

Probably the hardest part of the floor was the center console.

The hardest part of the entire project was building the firewall. 

This is after a little use and I was working on the engine and transmission.

I built the firewall with the engine and transmission in place.  I did this so that I would have enough room for every thing and so that I could make it as close to the engine as possible.  I also had to make sure there was room for the brake master cylinder and all of the accessories.
